What it is
Nate Tran Photography is my portrait business: graduation shoots for college seniors across the Bay Area, and editorial-style sessions for couples, from proposals to engagements. It started as a hobby in June 2020, during the pandemic, and became a business when I realized two things: I needed to make the gear money back, and I genuinely love entrepreneurship, especially the marketing and sales side.
Every session runs on a system I’ve refined over six years: same-day replies to inquiries, unlimited outfit changes and locations, shooting in the best light possible, and galleries delivered within days, not weeks.
“My goal is to capture the scene accurately rather than simply applying a filter to each photo. Whenever we carefully choose an outfit or location, we do so because of the colors or lighting. Understanding these ideas and visualizing them through images is what my style offers.”

The edit serves the scene, not a trend. Clean, colorful, dreamy, and accurate to the light you were actually standing in. That’s the whole style.
No discounts, ever
Pricing is firm across every package. I’d rather add value, a longer session, an extra location, than cut the number. It keeps the work premium and the clients serious.
Community over competition
If I’m not the right fit, I’ll confidently recommend another photographer, even a direct competitor. Caring about the client’s result more than the booking builds trust that outlasts any single session.

The site runs on Pixieset, one platform carrying the whole client journey: portfolio, rates, contact form, contracts, payments, and private delivery galleries. Deliberately simple, so the photographs do the selling and the booking flow stays frictionless.
